Karnataka Haridasa Scientific Research
Centre (KHSRC) is the culmination of the efforts of a group of dedicated
individuals drawn from various walks of life for more than four decades.
This center was founded under the leadership of Professor Ranganath Bharadwaj,
one of the leading economists, econometricians, methodologists, educationists,
theatre persons in the country. The Centre has initiated many innovative
programmes in such varied fields as Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics,
Philosophy, Education, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Social Sciences and Arts and
Culture. The activities of the Centre are anchored to the Structural School of
Thought, an alternative methodology developed by Professor Bharadwaj in response
to the deepening methodological crisis in sciences, including economics and
education. This new approach enables one to view self, science and society in an
integrated framework.
KHSRC's programmes are aimed at fusing science and spiritualism to enrich life.
"Vijnana Vaijayanti" is the most important annual event of the centre. These
seminars are unique events that have a common focus namely "Human Flowering".
Studies carried out at the Centre have shown that the methodology implied in the
works of Haridasas and the Structural Method is congruent. In view of this and
after examining this result from all aspects, the sponsors of the Trust named it
as "Karnataka Haridasa Scientific Research Centre".
KHSRC is a registered Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950
bearing number E-12579 (Bombay) dated 9-1-1990. It is also registered under
section 12 A of Income tax Act 1961. All donations to KHSRC qualify for
deduction under section 80-G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
In order to reach performing arts in rural areas, KHSRC has established a branch of the Structural School of Fine Arts in rural Bangalore, at Herohalli, Bangalore. All the activities of SSFA are conducted there and the participation of the locals is quite remarkable.
